Art Gallery Competition

Yes, you read that right! AnimeCon is hosting an art competition once again! Would you like your drawing to be displayed during our convention? Do you have what it takes to win our grand prize? Then don't hesitate to join! And the subject of your art? It can be anything! Let your creativity run wild and draw whatever you feel like, but just remember, incorporating our Hidden Spirits theme may earn you some bonus points. Check out the rules for our submission guidelines.

Exhibition:
All submitted art will be displayed during the event, where visitors and a jury will vote for their favorite. You can choose to retrieve your artwork after the closing ceremonie or donate it to AnimeCon. Submitted art may also be used to promote the event; however, this does not include promotion through merchandise. And if that's not enough, a selection of the artwork will be published in our paper, ensuring it will be glorified forever!

Prizes:
The winner can choose between one of two prizes: two weekend tickets or a guaranteed free artist booth for AnimeCon's 2027 edition!
When choosing a free artist booth, the artist still has to comply with the Dealer Room rules.

Important Notes:
We encourage you to post your art on social media and tag us! However, please note that social media posts do not count as an entry. You must email your submission to InkedOtaku@animecon.nl.

We roepen alle kunstenaars op, want AnimeCon organiseert een kunst tentoonstelling met als thema Hidden Spirits! 

Ja, je leest het goed! AnimeCon organiseert wederom de tekenwedstrijd! Wil je graag je eigen werk tentoonstellen tijdens onze conventie? Heb jij het in je om onze grote prijs te winnen? Aarzel dan niet om je in te schrijven! En wat betreft kunst? Dit kan echt alles zijn! Laat je creativiteit erop los en teken wat je graag wilt, maar als je ons thema Hidden Spirits erin verwerkt, kun je wel bonus punten winnen. Bekijk onze regels en richtlijnen rondom je inzending. 

Tentoonstelling:
Alle inzendingen worden tijdens het event tentoongesteld, waarbij gasten en een jury kunnen stemmen op hun favoriet. Je mag je werk na de eindceremonie ophalen of doneren aan AnimeCon. Inzendingen kunnen gebruikt worden om het evenement te promoten, dit zal echter niet worden gebruikt als promotie op merchandise. En als dit alles niet genoeg is — een selectie van werken zal gepubliceerd worden in ons boekje en daarmee vereeuwigd worden. 

De prijzen:
De winnaar mag kiezen uit één van onze twee prijzen: twee weekend tickets of een gegarandeerde gratis artist stand voor de 2027-editie van AnimeCon!
Wanneer je kiest voor een gratis artist stand, zal de artist zich nog steeds aan de regels van de Dealer Room moeten houden.

We moedigen je aan om je werk op social media te plaatsen en ons hierin te taggen! Houd er echter rekening mee dat social media berichten niet tellen als inzending. Je moet je inzendingen per e-mail sturen naar: InkedOtaku@animecon.nl.
