Banzai no Ushi is an immersive music rave focused on the otaku community, bringing anime culture & rave culture energy together in one illuminating spectacle!

Step into a world inspired by the vibrant street of Akihabara, where sound, light and otaku's fuel the city nightlife.

For our first edition, we are proud to welcome our special guest from Japan: Maron (IOSYS)! 
Along side a DJ line-up, we will deliver nonstop energy for two full days!

Maron (IOSYS)
Maron is a creator and DJ belonging to the music production collective IOSYS. Active since joining IOSYS in 20216, he is known for writing, composing, and producing songs for top VTubers – including Hololive and NIJISANJI – as well as contributing music to various rhythm games and performing live mainly in Tokyo! 

Maron will also perform on the Sunday on the Pop-On Stage with a very special curated set, all around the wonderful world of the Touhou franchise!

Club Weeb
Club week is one of the leading anime-themed clubs in the Netherlands, bringing Japanese pop culture and nightlife together into a single experience. Designed for weebs by weebs, everyone connected to the Japanese music culture will come to life with Club Weeb. They have grown into a key meeting point for the people in the Netherlands that love anime.

Deshima Sounds
You may not believe it, but two decades ago it was at AnimeCon that Deshima Sounds found its roots. The J-POP disco held at the Theaterhotel in Almelo in 2006 was what started the legacy that is Deshima Sounds – And this year we are back! 
As always, Deshima Sounds brings you the hottest tunes straight from the vibrant asian clubs. Whether you've partied with us since the old days, or you are a first-time raver, let the deejays take you on a journey across the biggest clubs in Japan and Korea. 

Bring your crew, wear your coolest rave outfit, and shake up the dance floor while the rhythm takes control. The Deshima Sounds party is boud to be the biggest of them all, bringing 20 years of rave experience to AnimeCon 2026. people will be talking about this party, and you do not want to miss it. Pon de Beats - Shiz
Mix, Mash, Trash! Shiz has been spinning tracks for as long as he has been into J-Culture! From regularly performing in his home country of the Netherlands, he spread out to all over Europe, from France to Norway! As organizer and resident of “Pon de Beats” he's a multi-genre connoisseur who is sure to bring the hype with his fine selection of the latest remixes and mashups that are bound t catch you off-guard and move your feet! Get Rady for some of the most well-hidden bangers in anison!

Pon de Beats - BrainShit
Hailing from Germany, DJ BrainShit performed at various anime parties all over the world including the legendary Japanese club MOGRA. Simultaneously, he is pushing the European scene forward through his own anime party called “Pon de Beats” and his Anime Remix Label “Raider Records”! During his set, he runs on pure emotion and excitement for the anime music he plays and feeds off the energy of the crowd while giving off an infectious energy that will make you scream and dance! Be ready for a very energetic performance featuring original and remixed version of your favorite anime songs and some that will become your favorite!

Yakkaiser
Known for his high-octane energy, Yakkaiser channels his love for anime into an otaku music festival! Be it anywhere in the world, his boundless energy and passion reaches far beyond the Netherlands!
